For your Reading Pleasure
Hi all, as some of you may or may not know, I injured my ankle last week while playing soccer. The pitch is getting worse every week. If you fall down you'll probably get a nasty abrasion. In my case, your studs get stuck in some lobang on the pitch and you injure yourself. Or you get the rubbery black particles in your shoes or get a free 'tattoo' from the stuff getting stuck on your skin. I'm pissed off at having to miss soccer 'cos of the bad pitch conditions and not getting my money's worth, so I submitted this feedback to the Sports Council Website:
Dear Madam/Sir,
I badly twisted my ankle while playing soccer in St. Wilfrid last week, 8th February. I would like to draw your attention to the poor conditions of the 5-a-side pitches, especially Pitch 3, where I got injured. The strips of artifical turf laid out adjacent to each other are starting to fray at the sides and thin on the surface due to wear and tear. There are gaps in between the strips, where my boot studs got caught, causing me to land awkwardly and twist my ankle. The thinning surface is becoming very abrasive; any player who takes a fall is sure to sustain an abrasion due to the rough surface. This is made worse by the rubbery black particles that cover the playing surface, increasing risks of abrasions and getting into footwear, making for a very unpleasant playing experience.
My friends and I have been playing on the St. Wilfrid fields for more than 2 1/2 years every week and have not seen any significant upgrading or maintenance on the pitches themselves. We support the Sports Council's efforts to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among Singaporeans and fork out good money every week to pursue our sporting passion. As a sporting citizen and paying customer, I demand the SSC take prompt action as this is an important safety issue.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets hope they do something about it.

Passive Not Active...
Hello,
You will never believe what I am doing now... Other than writing this post...
Anyway I just realise, our long-time blogger, Blackburn is such a passive guy when regards to relationship...
Long gone is the guy who does super crazy things especially during his JC life... If you know him, you will know what this means... I still remember the “record” he had during that 2 years was 10.
Right now... maybe he has matured. Although 25 years seem to be a long time for someone to get to this stage...
He has become so passive... Some friends call him a “soulless shell” when he goes out with them.
Or maybe he has stoned too much or just seen too much...
Maybe he is just tired of it...
He seems to have become like Nikaido... Not to that extent... but almost there.
Anyway here are some of the photos of what i call the “last buffet”. Cause the photos looks like a graduation picture!

Oh.. and I forget to tell you what I am doing... Right now I am listening to all of the JAY CHOU CD so that if someone got request, he will not panic and be able to at least sing part of the song.
Apparently i am already at my 3rd Cd... 3 more to go...
TT
