The Importance of a pencil box...

Hi,

Its me… Blackburn. Let me just get to the point before anyone say I am naggy.

I am a guy who doesn’t use a pencil box since primary 6. After losing my favorite ninja turtle pencil box, I refused to replace it with any other one. This particular pencil box is really meaningful to me and nothing can replace its place in my heart.

But this has been critical to my studies as I realize the new uses of pencil box lately.

Ok… get to the point. Recently, I was having a quiz. It was freaking hard. What I studied did not come out, what I not study came out. That was how frustrating I was when I was doing the quiz. The worst thing was not, not being able to answer the question, but having to write meaningful rubbish on those blank spaces. I was just hoping to squeeze any little marks I can from anywhere.

At this point, I saw the guy beside me acting weird. He was looking at a marker after every line he wrote (This marker is thin like a pen and both tips can write).

You can see his head shifting left and right. It was funny.

At this point, I was so curious, I look over. (Okay, I know this is a quiz and I cannot look over. But at that point, it was definitely something more interesting than doing my quiz.)

Then, I saw lines on the body of the marker. (If there are no lines, the body will be white.)

After a longer look, I realized there were answers are on the marker. I mean I suppose those are answers on the pen, cos he was looking very closely and afterwhich he will write straight after looking.

Then with his pencil box opened, I saw other same markers that had lines on their body.

I was devastated. Here I am struggling like hell writing rubbish that I cannot even get a mark and the person beside me was cheating.

This made me realized the IMPORTANCE OF A PENCIL BOX.

If I actually have a pencil box, I may have also thought of using this trick to cheat during exams or quiz. Answer could be put in pencil box or on pens or erasers and no one will know.

I should go and get a pencil box straight away.

So… guess what did I do after 3 days? I still did not buy any pencil box. This is because the ninja turtle pencil box is still more important to me than getting good grades in quizzes. Moreover, Mr ninja turtle would not have wanted me to do something like cheating.

The big difference between you and him is that you get to sleep soundly at night and he won't.

God's gonna cut him down, don't worry..

Don't buy a pencil box lah, save up for a pair of steadip soccer boots!!!

Glad you did not resort to such despicable means like the person who cheat. One should work hard to earn his/ her own credits. There is no shortcuts to success - and I sincerely hope that you'll withhold to what you think is right!

i seriously dunno how a few words squeezed into something as thin as a pen will give u any clues to answering questions that you are truly clueless about in the first place.

haha! the strange thing about education at my time(or our time.. make me sound so old.. haha!) was it was all centred on fear. Fear of getting scolded, fear of wasting your time on remedial lessons, fear of not making it to the next year and the teachers did a good job, like our NS RSM in instilling fear to make people work. Instead of fear, give love. Motivate them, tell them the bigger picture. Haha, not to say I didn't cheat but I gave up coz I was so lazy to write notes down. Guess where I wrote them? In lower sec we wear shorts rite? Write at your thigh/groin area lor..Just pull the shorts up a bit to read the cocnealed notes on your thigh. I have a pretty big one, so there's more space.. haha! if teacher ask why you keep looking down, say not feeling well. plus pencil box they can check but they won't strip check you mah.. haha! ;P makings of a great heist man.. still got other stoopid stuff I did in school la like "OCean's four" and "robin hood project".. But that is a story for another time.. :)
