Why so quiet?

Hi guys,

I juz thought the blog needed a new post to cover the super long post about soccer. Btw why in the world do we need the rules and regulations ah? shouldn't the list of places be enough? anyway that is besides the point.. haha..

So whats up guys? mai sian la its 2009 next year 2010 liao so fun! why the doom and gloom? A lot of us are embarking on exciting new phases in our lives! Time to look forward and rub our hands in anticipation!

For some of u guys studying will be a thing of a past as u officially enter the working life. As for myself i can't wait to enter a new environment, meet new ppl, face new challenges.

So I thought of a new idea to motivate ourselves! why not we start a post on ONE single wish to be completed by the end of this year.

On 31/12/2009, we can then bring the post back up again and evaluate whether we succeeded in our wishes.

Lets keep things simple.

NO MULTIPLE WISHES. Just a single, realistic one that can be achieved by the end of this year. Be specific and elaborate on the details pls.

I'll start off :

I wish that God will bring me to a uni where i can grow as a person. Just like when he showed me into St Francis. Lookin back on those 2 years, i can safely say that everything went PERFECTLY. Without a single regret or remorse. I learnt and experienced things i never thought i would ever have the chance to in my life.

I don't think i'll ever have the chance again to stand in front of 500 ppl on stage, alone, face to face with a pastor, and take an oath before a whole school to fulfil my duties to the best of my abilities as the President of the Student Council.

I don't think i'll ever have the chance to be the Emcee of a Speech day again.

So my dream is simply to be in a place where I can face new challenges, and at the age of 80, be able to look back at my life and say that "i've been there and done that" and be able to tell them to my grandchildren. Who knows, LAOSIPKONG may even be continued by them!

If i've ever placed into a place like SP ever again, then i will consider this wish as a failure. NEVER again will i lead a mundane life of routine after routine, a mistake i made in poly..haha.. Before I know it, death as a routine will ensue.

So guys, now its ur turn, some of u will be lookin for jobs, some will be changing jobs, some will still be studying. Watever it is, juz list down a single wish whether with regards to finances (BORING), health or family.

Pls dun give crappy wishes like pik piak by end of year. earn 10K by end of the year, buy Lambo by end of the year etc...

Keep it realistic and achievable. Elaborate more and be specific, so that we can all work towards our goals.

At the end of the year, everyone muz steadip ok? Whenever u guys need motivation and encouragement, just see this blog and look at the post u put up and that will serve as strength!
